A Bookkeeper's role has significantly changed in recent years. Bookkeepers once simply entered numbers in ledgers and passed the accounts over to Accountants to finish the job and do the Tax Returns. Today, Bookkeepers are an integral part of every business. They provide great support to the business owners.

As individuals, to be good bookkeepers, we have to be able to adapt, be quick learners and have great computer and communications skills. We must be great problem solvers with great time management and integrity.

But first and foremost we have to love our job. The greatest reward as a bookkeeper is to see our client business grow. Having been in this industry for a while you get to mingle in such a wide range of industries, all equally exciting. It is amazing how often, I will get a new client and they tell me that they are totally unaware of their financial reports.

Most would find that incredible. How do they plan? How do you expand, is there growth? The reality is most business owners are so busy running their businesses day to day that they manage to just keep their head above water. Add the time to do their books and you understand it becomes too much of a task!

It is thus critical to rethink your strategy, review your business plan and outsource your bookkeeping function. Some of you will think, "I can't afford it " What if I said to you that we offer packages as small as $110 per month? Would that sway you?

So give it a go and reach out, we promise to do our very best for you.
